Kira the Tri-Colour Corgi

A Lively Corgi Dog Boarding in Singapore Who Brought Back Sweet Memories
Kira visited us twice in 2025 for short weekend corgi dog boarding in Singapore — once in April and again later in the year. Having her around brought back many fond memories of our own corgi, Lilo. While they’re completely different — Lilo was a sable-and-white boy, and Kira is a tricolour girl — there was something about her presence that felt very familiar and comforting.
Kira is full of energy — and we really mean full. After long walks, most dogs would happily settle down to rest. Not Kira. Even after extended walks, she was still eager for attention, occasionally pawing at the gate as if asking, “What’s next?” We joked that she could probably run a marathon, despite her short little legs.
What Kira loves most is being around people. Whenever someone entered the room, she would light up instantly, greeting us with excitement and gentle nibbles to ask for pats. While her enthusiasm was a little overwhelming for my younger child at first, my elder child had an absolute blast playing with her and keeping her entertained.
Boarding Kira was lively, memorable, and full of laughter. She reminded us just how much personality corgis have packed into their compact frames. We’re certain this won’t be our last encounter with fellow corgis, and we look forward to welcoming more of these spirited little pups into our home-based dog boarding in Singapore.
