Mitra holds a special place in our hearts — he was the first dog who came to us regularly for daycare. Still a young puppy then and needing hooman company while his pawrents returned to office, we happily helped with weekday puppy-sitting whenever needed.

Since Mitra lives within the same estate, drop-off and pick-up were a breeze. It really felt like doggy childcare — morning drop-off with his cheerful tail wagging, and an excited Cavapoo waiting at the door by evening.

As ex-dog owners ourselves, we understood the puppy stage well — full of energy, teething, playful nibbles, and of course… the occasional little “accident”. It’s all part of growing up! We simply adjusted by bringing him for more frequent walks, and gradually learnt his “business timing” to help encourage outdoor toileting.

Mitra soon became part of our family routine. Whenever my elder boy returned from primary school, you’d hear laughter and the sound of a ball bouncing — which meant one thing: fetch time. Mitra loved his tummy rubs, play sessions, and simply being around people. Watching him grow week by week was such a joy.
