Before 2024 came to a close, we received another special boarding request. Kuro, a Singapore Special, came to ensure our Christmas wouldn’t be lonely!

This was also our first time providing dog transport in Singapore, and Kuro seemed a bit wary of strangers at the start. When we first met her and her family, she barked at us — likely just protecting her beloved hooman. But once we spent a little time chatting with her owner, Kuro settled down and behaved well throughout the car ride.

Kuro stayed for 6 nights, a relatively short visit compared to our first two guests, Goose and Milo. She took a few nights to adjust to her new surroundings and was quiet and reserved at first. But as she grew more familiar with our family, her personality started to shine. Soon, she would bark to get our attention when we walked past her room — clearly asking for some playtime or a walk!

At first we thought that’s how we wrapped up 2024 at Pawcation, but we had another last min day care request just before New Year’s Eve! When we dropped off Kuro, her pawrent even brought us a thoughtful gift from their holiday — a gesture that truly warmed our hearts.
